Clearwater, Fl. –  It’s a trend occurring across the country. With a change on how people shop, many of our local malls are becoming more and more desolate. Empty storefronts turn into empty malls. And Malls are starting to think outside the box to bring shoppers back.  One mall in the area has taken this new concept and run with it, Westfield Countryside Mall.  With a Movie theater, a growing amount of restaurants and coming soon GameTime. Countryside is far from throwing in the retail towel.

Fun Family Gaming Mega Center

With its future location taking up a large part of the upstairs west wing, it was hard to not be curious about what GameTime will be? I spoke with GameTimes marketing director, Kelli Markunas, she explained that this newest location would be very similar to the Ocoee location. (they currently have 6).

So here is a little of what we can expect!

Mega Arcade

  • Full service experience in a beautiful Restaurant
  • Full liquor Sports Bar
  • Mega Arcade with more than 100 new and retro classic arcade games
  • prize machines
  • mini bowling
  • And other attractions!

Family Restaurant

  • Delicious appetizers
  • Entrees
  • Great kid’s meals
  • Healthy salads
  • Build-your-own-burger options,
  • Sports Bar apps like nachos or chicken wings.

GameTime will have a Family Restaurant where you can play and eat in style.  You are certain to have a fantastic dining experience while everyone has a great time.

Watch the Game

GameTime is the BEST place to watch any game! With the NFL Sunday Ticket on over 50+ HDTVS, great food, drink specials and exciting ‘Watch Parties’you have  the perfect spot to cheer on your favorite teams throughout each season! The game is always on at GameTime – NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, UFC, NCAA, MLS and it’s a guaranteed great night out!

With its location close to the north west entrance of the Mall, we have a feeling that this could be handled like the movie theater, with its own entrance having extended hours.

As of now GameTime has no opening date scheduled, but I’ll be keeping an eye on the progress and keep you updated
